IF BONDED OUTSIDE THE V.F.W., you must forward a copy of the fidelity bond to our office as proof that you have met the following requirements pursuant to the National By-laws and Manual of Procedure which states: Sec. 703-Bonds - Each officer accountable for funds or property pursuant to any provision of the By-Laws shall be bonded with an indemnity company as surety in a sum at least equal to the amount of the liquid assets for which, so far as can be anticipated, he/she may be accountable.
If more than $10,000.00 is needed to cover your Post's liquid assets, the fee is $25.00 for the first $10,000.00 and $5.00 per $1,000.00 for everything over $10,000.00. (See breakdown below)
